Conde Nast Travelers Guide - 7/2016 by Paul Brady, Senior Editor “The Finger Lakes have a growing following among wine geeks, but outside a few major producers, the area’s Rieslings and Chardonnays are little known. My favorite stop- and one many visitors drive right past – is the small farmhouse of Bloomer Creek, where you can try and buy their super-small production. (I love the rosé.) You’ll have to call ahead to make sure they’ll be open, but, to me, that’s just one more reason to love it.”

"Best Wines to Stock in Your Bicultural Home" - Food and Wine blog by Carson Demmond 6/22/16  "Bloomer Creek Vineyard Finger Lakes Cabernet Franc – “This wine might be my favorite wine from the Finger Lakes, period. It has the ripeness that   a lot of reds from the region lack. It has body, freshness… It has that touch of pepperiness, that dark red fruit that’s so soft and pretty. It’s just an elegant style of Cab Franc.”

Check the website to see when his Seneca Lake tasting room is open, or call for an appointment." Read the full article here.

Writer and founder of wine blog The Vinguard, Pamela Busch recently wrote about her visit to Bloomer Creek. Her August 27th, 2015 article, titled "Could the Finger Lakes be the New World Loire?" showcases Bloomer Creek's dedication and passion for natural winemaking.

"Nearly everyone I met said that it is impossible to be organic or make natural wine in the Finger Lakes. However, Debra Bermingham and Kim Engle of Bloomer Creek Vineyard doth protest. If their wines didn’t have so much inherent purity and intricacy I’d just mention this as a point of interest and move on. Yet, that would be a massive disservice as this is one of the best producers in North America."

Pamela includes full tasting notes for all of the wine as well. Read the whole article here.
